The hygger Internal Power Filter delivers three-stage mechanical, chemical and biological aquarium filtration to achieve maximum water clarity. The hygger Aquarium Filter can ensure good water circulation, filter out dirt in the cylinder to keep the water clean, and also aerate the water to introduce a large amount of oxygen, quickly increasing the oxygen content and maintaining a good environment in the aquarium tank. The hygger aquarium filters come in three sizes to suit different tank volumes: HG040-S for 2-8 gallon (20-40L) tanks, HG040-M for 10-20 gallon (40-80L) tanks, and HG040-L for 15-30 gallon (60-120L) tanks.

The HG040-S model features a 3W power, 60GPH (220L/H) pump and 1.6ft (0.5m) max head height. The HG040-M has a 6W power, 120GPH (450L/H) pump and 2.6ft (0.8m) max head height. The HG040-L boasts a 10W power, 160GPH (600L/H) pump and 3.9ft (1.2m) max head height.

All models include activated carbon sponge and ceramic balls for mechanical, chemical and biological filtration. The activated carbon sponge removes particles, debris, odors and discoloration from the water, while the ceramic balls eliminate toxic ammonia and nitrite. The powerful 160GPH pump of the HG040-L can cycle a 30-gallon aquarium more than 5 times per hour, delivering clear water throughout the tank without effort.
