This aquarium bubble sponge filter is powered by a super quiet water pump, functioning as both a bio-sponge filter and an "air pump." Adjust the air intake knob to create fine bubbles and reduce the bubbling sound to almost nothing.

Easy to clean - simply squeeze it in the tank water to avoid killing any beneficial bacteria. The package includes: Filter S (for 8-30 Gallon) or Filter M (for 15-50 Gallon), 2 bags of hollow ceramic balls (or fill it with other bio-media), and 3 strong suction cups. The USB adapter/hub is not included.

Please note that the media chamber box needs to be opened by breaking it off with both hands (like breaking a stick), not by pulling. This filter is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater tanks. We've QC'd all the filters, so you can buy with confidence - they should rarely have any problems.

This filter works without an air pump, running ultra-quietly and more efficiently than other sponge filters. It's USB-driven, with a 5V safety low voltage and 2W energy-saving design. Simply plug in the USB adapter, and you get a bio-sponge filter and an "air pump" in one.

The air intake is adjustable, allowing you to create lots of fine bubbles and reduce the bubbling sounds. When you do this, the filter will work super quietly. The oxygen-rich water, combined with strong beneficial bacteria, can handle large amounts of ammonia and nitrite compared to other types of filters.

This filter is suitable for small and large fish planted tanks, shrimp tanks, and breeding tanks, among other aquarium setups.
