This aquarium sponge filter provides efficient filtration and a quiet environment for your fish, integrating biochemical filtration, physical filtration, and oxygenation. The water enters the filter from the bottom and all sides, and it is double-filtered by a biochemical sponge and bio-ceramic filter media, helping to cultivate beneficial nitrifying bacteria.

The filter features two types of replaceable filter materials: a spare sponge and a bag of ceramic media balls. The sponges can be cleaned and reused repeatedly, making maintenance easy.

Using this filter is straightforward. Simply fully wet the sponge with water from the fish tank, let the filter sink to the bottom of the tank, and then connect and turn on an air pump. This fish tank filter must be used with an air pump and a 4mm/0.16" (inner diameter) air hose. It is recommended for fish tanks below 23.62 inches in height, so please ensure you have a suitable air pump for your tank size (the air pump and air hose are not included).

The package includes the aquarium sponge filter with a media container, a sponge replacement, a bag of bio-ceramic media balls, and a user manual. The filter container can also be filled with other filter media to meet your specific needs.
