The AQQA Aquarium Sponge Filter is an air-powered and ultra-quiet filtration solution that provides efficient filtration without disturbing your fish. (Please note that an air pump and air hose are not included in the package, so you will need to prepare a suitable air pump for this filter based on your tank size.)

This sponge filter offers both mechanical and biological filtration. The sponge material provides mechanical filtration, and the vertical pattern design increases the filtering area, enabling efficient filtration. Additionally, the bio ceramic media balls provide biological filtration, helping to decompose harmful substances and cultivate beneficial nitrifying bacteria.

The filter boasts a steady output, with a maximum air flow rate ranging from 40GPH (2.5W) to 130GPH (8W), and a pressure range of 0.01MPa (2.5W) to 0.013MPa (8W). You can connect the air pump to air stones, nano bubble stones, sponge filters, and other accessories, making it perfect for aeration in freshwater and marine aquariums, hydroponics, and small ponds.
